Our Puppies...

Owning a pet is a lifetime commitment, and one that should be taken VERY seriously so if  you are thinking of taking this first step PLEASE ask yourself.....are you ready for another "person" to be in your life for 12-18 years again. Remember they didn't ask to be born in this world, that was our decision. Make sure you make the right decision before you go look at the "cute puppies". If you decide to go ahead, remember this cute puppy will grow up and he/she will depend on YOU for the rest of his/her life.

ANIMALS ARE NOT DISPOSABLE.....THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU SAY "YES"

 "I'm Sorry" is NO EXCUSE!

Any homes applying for our beautiful puppies will be asked many questions so be prepared....

If we have pups that we are not keeping and we think that they have show "Potential" then we will let them go to PRE APPROVED homes. For the safety of our precious puppies our pups are put onto "Limited register". This means that they HAVE to be de-sexed or will be de-sexed BEFORE they leave our kennels. Our whippets mean a great deal to us and are our 'children' so we take every precaution we can to make sure that they do not end up in the wrong hands.

We take care to make sure our puppies have the best start to life and expect that their new owners will love them as we do. All of our puppies are reared in the house (they are born in our lounge room) and stay there until 8 weeks of age. They grow up meeting everyone and hearing all the noises of a normal house hold such as vaccums, TV's, radio's and ect...

Before our puppies go to their new homes we begin their teachings on a lead and start house training, crate training and car riding. When they are ready to go to their new homes they will leave with a bag of food, a booklet of information for the new owners, a blanket, some toys and will be micro chipped, vaccinated and regularly wormed and have had at least 2 vet checks. We also offer our lifetime support for all of our dogs and will always be there to help them and their owners. If there is a problem that we do not have an answer for we will strive to do our best to help you find it.

This is horribly sad but so true for alot of puppies......read this and you can understand why a good breeder takes care and responsability for their puppies.

I died today.

You got tired of me and took me to the shelter.

They were overcrowded and I drew an unlucky number.

I am in a black plastic bag in a landfill now.

Some other puppy will get the barely used leash you left.

My collar was dirty and too small, but the lady took it off before she sent me to the Rainbow Bridge .

Would I still be at home if I hadn’t chewed your shoe?

I didn’t know what it was, but it was leather, and it was on the floor.

I was just playing, You forgot to get puppy toys.

Would I still be at home if I had been housebroken?

Rubbing my nose in what I did only made me ashamed that I had to go at all.

There are books and obedience teachers that would have taught you how to teach me to go to the door.

Would I still be at home if I hadn’t brought fleas into the house?

Without anti-flea medicine, I couldn’t get them off of me after you left me in the yard for days.

Would I still be at home if I hadn’t barked?

I was only saying, “I’m scared, I’m lonely, I’m here, I’m here! I want to be your best friend.”

Would I still be at home if I had made you happy?

Hitting me didn’t make me learn how.

Would I still be at home if you had taken the time to care for me and to teach manners to me?

You didn’t pay attention to me after the first week or so, but I spent all my time waiting for you to love me.

I died today...
